Higher Education Marketing Company Expands Sales Leadership

Tempe, AZ – March 3, 2009 – Higher Ed Growth, a marketing communications firm serving the accredited post-secondary education industry, has recently expanded its sales and marketing efforts, naming JT Benton as the company’s Senior Vice President, Sales. Mr. Benton will oversee Higher Ed Growth’s business sales activities and assist in the day to day management of the firm. He brings an eclectic and well-rounded resume to this new role, having held extended leadership posts in the communications and resort real estate industries for companies in North and Latin America. In each setting, Mr. Benton has been known for taking on unique sales and marketing challenges and leading his teams to uncommon results in diverse markets.

He sees military personnel as another key demographic. “Many thousands more are returning from active duty and are eligible for significant education benefits from the government. While Higher Ed Growth focuses largely on helping schools reach their enrollment goals, the company is aggressively moving forward on the development of fundraising and alumni relations services. Benton hinted at the direction, saying that the company is "actively discussing new fundraising and alumni outreach campaigns with several public and private universities." The company has already launched two related products (Nurture my Alumni™ and Nurture my Students™) and has plans to unroll another new tactical fundraising service in Q2, 2009. While the company is not yet releasing formal details, Benton did disclose that the new product looks to enable student and alumni donations in real time from "virtually any location."
